At GVM, through our success, we are able to give back to our local community. Since our inception, GVM has been supporting youth programs and food insecurities in our region.
We believe in investing in our next generation. By partnering with several schools in the Organgeville, Shelburne, Dundalk & Fresherton communities, we ensure that no children start the day hungry.
Compass Run for Food
Compass Run for Food is an annual 5K run/walk and 10.5K run, with all proceeds going to local food security programs.
Shepherd's Cupboard Food Bank provides emergency food in the Shelburne community.
Gentle Shepherd Food Bank is a Christian based Outreach Ministry of Gentle Shepherd Community Church in Flesherton serving the Grey County.
Hanley Institute is a a Registered Charity and community partner that develops and implements unique ways of extending opportunities and removing barriers for youth in Grey County.
LP Stage Productions Inc., is a non-profit theatre company started by Alison Port and Dale Lundy in 2011, with over 30 years combined experience in the industry. They began with the goal of bringing professional quality theatre to smaller communities. Over the past 13 years, LP has expanded into theatre programs, camps and shows specifically for young talent, as well as experienced actors.
Friends of the Dundalk Library is a not-for-profit organization that fundraises to support Ruth Hargrave Southgate Library initiatives.

Shelburne Soccer Club offers programs for children aged 3-17 and the club is run by a loyal team of dedicated volunteer executive members and coaches. Being part of a club builds friendships, promotes healthy living and enhances self esteem. Our goal is to enrich the lives of these children, encourage a healthy active lifestyle and grow deeper roots in the community.
